L'Escale des Voisins, a neighbours' association in La Sallaz, runs this market to bring people in the area together. Children under twelve get a pitch for free, so a few of the sellers are small. The September edition has been part of Lausanne's car-free day, with free games and craft workshops, face painting, a café littéraire, music and snacks.
