This isn't a market of separate sellers: the CPO, Ouchy's community centre, runs its own second-hand room in the basement, stocked with things people give it. On offer: books, decorations, crockery, small furniture, kitchen tools, clothes and accessories for all ages, children's equipment and toys — but no household appliances. The puces go back to Eugène Roy, a former director of the centre, who started them in a social spirit. Clearing out at home? Things in good condition can be dropped off right at the puces. Step-free access is by the ramp at the back, from the south side of the Temple de la Croix d'Ouchy. The M2 stops at Délices; the nearest public car park is at the Hôtel Royal Savoy.
