Barriers close the marked residential streets to cars for the day; Grenzacherstrasse, Wettsteinallee, Riehenring and Peter Rot-Strasse stay open. Wettstein was one of the two quarters where Basel's neighbourhood flea markets started, in 2016. Residents without space sell In der Burg, at the Quartiertreffpunkt Wettstein, and on the Landhof sports ground, in front of the grandstand. The swap is beside the church on the Theodorskirchplatz.
