Quartierflohmarkt St. Johann

Once a year, in August, the whole St. Johann district of Basel turns into a flea market: residents sell in front of their homes, and coloured balloons lead you from stall to stall. Part of the streets are closed to cars that day. At the Badhüsli by St. Johanns-Park (Elsässerstrasse 2), the bring&nimm scheme lets you drop off items in good condition or take something home. People from the neighbourhood organise the Flohmi as volunteers.
