Areal Bach is former railway freight land in St. Gallen's St. Fiden district, now in temporary use. From early April to mid-October, a neighbourhood flea market runs here at regular intervals, in dry weather only. Expect classic flea-market goods, secondhand clothes, vintage fashion, accessories and crafts. Snacks and drinks come from the Areal Bach bar wagon and the partner restaurant Gustav Gleis. The Verein Areal Bach organises the market.
