Flohmarkt Bienzgut

The stalls spread in front of and around the Bienzgut, an old farm in Bümpliz on the canton’s heritage inventory. The farmhouse was rebuilt in 1854 after lightning burned the old one down; the Stöckli with its bake house dates from 1793. Since 1998 the farm has been a meeting centre. It also houses the Osteria da Santo, a library of some 20,000 books and CDs, and a vaulted cellar where beer is brewed and poured.
