If you are after rarities, oddities, kitsch or things you can actually use, Arbon's Fischmarktplatz on Lake Constance is the place. The flea market is usually held in the first half of May, June and September, and the town organises it. Haggling is welcome, and a relaxed stroll past the colourful stalls is part of the visit.
