Flohmarkt Theresienwiese

Once a year, in April, the Theresienwiese turns into one big flea market, right in the middle of the Frühlingsfest. Only private people sell here, and nothing is new: on the tables is whatever a household has gathered over the years. From 7 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon, in the open air between Theresienhöhe and Bavariaring. Parking on the southern part of the meadow is 5 euros a car. The Bavarian Red Cross has run it for more than 30 years, and what the stall and parking fees leave over pays for its social work.
