Flohmarkt Glarus

Once a year, the day before the Landsgemeinde, the canton's open-air assembly, the centre of Glarus belongs to the flea market. More than 150 stalls fill the stretch from Spielhof to Gemeindehausplatz, and children sell for free from places of their own, around the town fountain among others. Pubs and food stands are open, street musicians play, and the youngest get a children's train on the Stadtplatz.
